If you really LOVE to eat watermelon, at some point you have probably thought about what would happen if you swallowed a seed . . . and then one day it happens – you do! So you try not to panic, but you imagine what might happen if the seed starts to grow in your stomach and then vines start to come out of your ears and your stomach stretches and you turn pink! Of course, none of those things actually happen, especially since you burp out the seed, and you then vow to never ever eat watermelon again. BUT YOU LOVE WATERMELON, so you start with just a teeny tiny bite . . .(to be continued . . .) This very funny book is delightful and would be a wonderful read-aloud for kids age 4 and up. I think kids will really love this book!
